Healthcare Revenue Cycle Coding Director

Required

• This is a contract role for 3-4 months with a possible extension.
• Need to have a coding leadership background* Key priority: Stabilizing the coding team as they begin the process to transition away from their 100% coder review model while maintaining compliance and revenue integrity.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, Revenue Cycle technology, Revenue Cycle operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and complex healthcare technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of healthcare Revenue Cycle processes across both hospital and professional billing environments.
• Significant experience supporting Epic or another major enterprise healthcare Revenue Cycle platform.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior Revenue Cycle, Finance, and IT executives.
• Experience leading complex application implementations, optimization initiatives, or Revenue Cycle transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, interfaces, workflows, application architecture, and system dependencies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex health system environment.

Preferred

Hourly range: $100-$120. The hourly range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.

• Epic certification and/or significant leadership experience with Epic Revenue Cycle applications, particularly Resolute HB/PB.
• Experience with Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, HIM, Claims, and other Epic Revenue Cycle functionality.
• Experience within a large integrated delivery network, academic medical center, or multi-hospital health system.
