About The RoleOur client is looking for a highly organised Logistics & Operations Assistant to support ourgrowing operations team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in logisticsadministration, commercial documentation and international shipping who enjoys working in afast-paced environment.You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods by coordinating shipments,maintaining accurate documentation and supporting internal operational processes.As a Logistics & Operations Assistant, you will work closely with internal teams, suppliers andlogistics partners to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for maintainingcommercial documentation, managing product classification data and ensuring informationwithin our internal systems is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities● Prepare and maintain commercial shipping documentation.● Classify products using the correct HS (Harmonized System) Codes.● Update and maintain data across internal ERP and operational systems.● Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders and logistics providers.● Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues.● Support customs documentation and ensure compliance with import/export requirements.● Liaise with suppliers, warehouses and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment.● Maintain accurate inventory, shipping and operational records.● Assist with process improvements and operational reporting.● Provide general administrative support to the operations and logistics teams.

Requirements (Essential)

  • Previous experience in a Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain support role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial shipping documentation.
  • Experience assigning or working with HS Codes.
  • Experience using ERP, logistics or internal business management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
