THE ROLE
The Programmatic Analytics and Strategy team at Zeta Global provides actionable insights to both external customers and internal teams. As Manager, you will oversee a team of two analysts while taking a lead role in priority accounts and media and analytics strategy. You will design measurement frameworks and drive complex testing initiatives including brand lift, incrementality, and A/B experimentation. Alongside your client’s work, you will develop your team’s capabilities through day-to-day coaching, mentorship, and training.
Depending on your location, this role could be hybrid (NYC, Fort Lauderdale, Nashville, LA, San Francisco) or remote.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Client Leadership
- Take a lead role on priority and complex accounts, helping shape the analytics and media strategy narrative for client engagements.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify new business opportunities, support pitches, and expand scope within existing accounts.
- Consult with clients on the development and alignment of marketing programs across online channels, translating business challenges into analytical solutions.
- Lead client-facing communication around campaign strategy, performance insights, and optimization recommendations with a compelling storytelling approach.
- Partner with Customer Success leads to execute the QBR process end-to-end including setting timelines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring analysts are prepared to present insights that drive meaningful client conversations.
- Communicate campaign optimization results to clients to prove value against original business goals.
Measurement, Testing & Analytics
- Design and own measurement frameworks that define how success is tracked, reported, and communicated across client portfolios.
- Lead the design and execution of complex testing programs including brand lift studies, incrementality testing, and A/B experimentation.
- Establish testing methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization modeling requirements to ensure full campaign impact and efficiency.
- Work with clients to understand key business challenges and design analytic and testing plans to derive actionable intelligence.
- Review performance of models across revenue, performance, and pacing — identifying opportunities and flagging risks proactively.
- Work with internal teams and stakeholders to determine that measurement tools and products are appropriate for addressing client business challenges.
- Develop innovative measurement tools and solutions that advance the team’s analytical capabilities.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams on automation and model features to advance reliability, reach, and effectiveness of programmatic campaigns.
Team Management & Development
- Manage a small team of analysts, supporting their day-to-day workload, quality of output, and professional growth
- Mentor and train team members on analytical best practices, platform tools, client communication, and media strategy.
- Review and provide feedback on analyst deliverables before they reach clients or senior stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Delegate effectively to free up bandwidth for strategic priorities while ensuring everything under your purview runs smoothly.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a digital media, programmatic analytics, or related role.
- Experience mentoring or informally leading peers; prior direct management experience a plus but not required.
- Deep experience in digital media strategy and programmatic analytics.
- Proven track record designing and executing measurement frameworks and complex testing programs (brand lift, incrementality, A/B).
- Experience pulling and synthesizing audience insights reports.
- Client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to lead strategic conversations.
Technical Skills
- Extensive experience with SQL and Excel / pivot tables.
- Excellent presentation, visualization, and storytelling skills with PowerPoint.
- Experience with VBA/Excel Macros, Tableau, Python, SAS, or other data manipulation tools a plus.
- Technical acumen to design campaigns that optimize the use of our technology platform.
- Excellent diagnostic skills.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- A great communicator who can convey complex technical concepts in simple, compelling terms to both clients and team members.
- Strong aptitude for media strategy with the ability to contextualize concepts for client audiences.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate across several high-profile accounts simultaneously.

- Enthusiastic team player with a penchant for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and developing others.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Bonus - Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or equivalent experience.

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 depending on location and experience.
