OUR MISSION
We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.
As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.
Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Manager, Quality, you will own Thyme Care’s approach to contractual quality performance, including HEDIS, Stars, partner-specific quality measures, and other emerging quality priorities and opportunities.
You will own the end-to-end operationalization of quality measures and campaigns—from understanding the measure and identifying the opportunity, to designing the workflow, developing job aids and enablement, coordinating implementation, monitoring execution, and evaluating performance. This portfolio includes measures and programs such as seasonal flu vaccination, health risk assessments, in-home wellness assessments, transition of care measures, preventive screenings, and other payer-specific quality initiatives.
This is both an operational and analytical role. You will be expected to work directly with quality and operational data, investigate performance questions, define reporting requirements and measure logic, and translate findings into practical workflows and interventions. You’ll partner closely with Data and Product, while also working directly with Care Teams and Operations to make sure campaigns can be executed reliably in practice.
Reporting to the Director of Quality, this is an opportunity to build and scale a critical capability and improve patient outcomes. As capacity allows, you may also contribute to broader Quality priorities such as accreditation, member complaints, and patient safety initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own Quality Measures & Campaigns
Build Scalable Quality Operations
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
NICE TO HAVE
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
Operational & Execution-Oriented. You can take a quality measure or payer requirement and turn it into a practical, scalable operating model. You think through workflows, owners, tasking, job aids, training, timelines, member lists, escalation paths, and reporting—not just the strategy.
Analytical & Technically Fluent. You can independently work through messy healthcare data, validate assumptions, identify trends and outliers, and turn analysis into action. You are comfortable moving between spreadsheets, BI tools, measure specifications, and operational workflows—and partnering with Data teams on more complex analyses.
Quality Performance Expertise. You understand how HEDIS, Stars, payer quality measures, and contractual requirements translate into operational workflows and performance improvement.
Strong Cross-Functional Leader. You can influence teams you do not manage directly and establish alignment across technical, clinical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement Mindset. You don't stop at launching a campaign or reporting performance. You want to understand where execution is breaking down, why gaps persist, what should change, and whether the intervention worked.
