Significance is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. This position is remote and requires a Public Trust clearance.

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for:

Design and develop Web Application using Java (Spring Boot)

Build and maintain backend services for:

Integrate with:

Design scalable architecture and support:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integration strategies

Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

• Profile management
• SSN lookup
• Data validation and synchronization
• AWS services (API Gateway, RDS, S3, messaging services)
• External authentication systems
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise and ATO standards
• Error handling
• Logging

Desired Skills:

7+ years of Java development experienceStrong expertise in:Spring Boot / Spring FrameworkREST API developmentExperience with relational databases and SQLFamiliarity with AWS services and cloud-native developmentStrong understanding of application security and authentication mechanisms

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
